So a couple days ago I was in Venice Italy, and just three words explained how I felt about the trip, “It was perfect”. A country that is full of life, people who know how to enjoy the small things in life. A society that dances and sings in the streets. People that smile all the time, say hi, and restaurants where the workers love to communicate with you. Most streets were narrow with plants hanging down walls. A city where you don’t see any cars and instead boats are transportation. Even the Amazon packages get delivered by boats. It was like a fairytale. The people’s language was beautiful to listen to, like music to the ears. There the people were very stylish also, they really knew how to dress. After all it is the country where Versace came from.
The food there was really good! The pizza was especially good! Pasta was nice but overrated. So if you go, don’t expect too much; however they actually did have good food. Depending on the places you find, there were places that were cheap and there were very expensive places also. If you’re planning on eating in restaurants everyday. Then just for dinner you will need a minimum of 70 Euros a day for two people. Breakfast was pretty cheap with the croissant and all that. You would need about 20 euros for two people. They had pretty good pastry things for breakfast. It’s a country that loves sugar! Many of the croissants were filled with very nice jam, vanilla cream, and powdered sugar on top. If you drink then it’s a perfect country because there everyone drinks and champagne & vodka get offered to you at restaurants.
You can find pretty cheap hotels for about 60 euros a day and sometimes even less. But there are also pretty expensive luxurious ones from 130 euros. We stayed at an Airbnb for five days and all together paid 300 euros. Which was pretty cheap to be honest. It was a nice apartment in the middle of Venice. With a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. If anyone would like to know the place then email me and I would love to give you information.
Would I recommend you to visit? Yes! It’s a perfect country to relax, have a good time, enjoy the sea and view, eat good food, and be surrounded by happy and fun people. I honestly loved it so much. Mostly because of its beautiful architecture and happy society. I really loved the people there. They were very sweet, happy, sociable, and very loud talkers.
It’s important to take a break once in a while, to leave your environment and try something new. Traveling is really good for just taking a breath. All the problems you have are forgotten the moment you’re at the airport and that’s very important. To just shut down and focus on something completely different from what you’re used to. It’s the summer and most of you have a break, so enjoy to the fullest and leave somewhere else. Venice was perfect for a mental break because all you see is water, old buildings, and beautiful people. No cars or factories instead every corner you look at has a soul in it. So this is my opinion on Venice, 10 out of 10. I recommend you to take a break this summer and leave somewhere else out of your environment. It doesn’t have to be far or expensive, just go somewhere for a couple days even if it’s close by. Thank you so much for reading Adyan´s Blog! Please don’t forget to subscribe.
